Nickolas Duarte for Bayer
DIRECTOR’S NOTE
Dear Energy BBDO Team,
Thank you for taking the time to review and consider my work for the upcoming Bayer spots.
Upon reviewing the animatics, I connected immediately with this project. There’s great potential in the first spot to touch all of us who have older parents. The second spot hit even harder for me. I just became a father this past year and my health has become much more motivated by being there for my daughter. The line “Your heart isn’t just your’s” really hits home. With strong casting choices, these can be really special pieces.
I’ve spent the last two years studying under Ryan Murphy’s company and some of the best writers at Warner Brothers. I feel confident that with those experiences I can help bring the emotional arc of these stories to life.
I will happily make myself available if you folks would like to chat more. Best of luck in the director search!
